Free printable allowance tracker
Track chores done, money earned, and a savings goal on one printable page.
An allowance tracker helps kids see the link between the work they do and the money they earn. This one has a row for each week, with columns for chores done, money earned, any bonus, the total, and whether it's been paid. At the bottom, kids set a savings goal and color in a coin each time they save. It's one portrait page in PDF, free to print, with no signup needed.
Tying allowance to chores
There's no single right way to do it, but most families land on one of these:
- A set weekly amount for the regular chores. Kids earn their allowance by keeping up with the chores on their list. If a week is mostly missed, it's simpler to talk about why than to work out a partial amount.
- Extra money for extra jobs. Bigger or optional jobs, like washing the car, pay a bonus on top. That's what the Bonus column is for.
- Payday on the same day every week. A regular payday makes the tracker easy to fill in, and kids learn to plan around it.
- A goal they chose. Saving is easier when it's for something specific. Write it on the "Saving for" line.
Rather not do the math every week? ChoreHub adds up each kid's allowance and bonus chores automatically, free. With ChoreHub Plus, paying is one tap: it opens Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App with the amount already filled in.
